According to Rolling Stone Magazine, artist duo Ivy Findt and its members Cate Martin and Micha Holland write “pop songs cast into silver.” The deluxe edition of their debut album, the result of a cooperation between GUDBERG NERGER and Marland Records, is just as silvery. Hardcover bound and in vinyl format, it features 36 pages of beautiful artwork and the titular “In Every Move“ embossed in silver letters across the entire cover. Inside, each song’s lyrics is juxtaposed with one of Cate Martin’s paintings; eleven colourspheres in dialogue with the tonality of the songs that make up a unique product unparalleled on the art book market. The lyrics and paintings are prefaced and concluded by two explanatory pieces of writings, penned by Dirk Westerkamp, professor of theoretical philosophy, and music journalist Daniel Koch.

Erst im August veröffentlichte das Künstlerduo Ivy Flindt – bestehend aus Cate Martin (Gesang) und Micha Holland (Gitarre) – ihr Debütalbum auf Marland Records, das sich bereits bester Kritiken rühmen darf. „Popsongs wie in Silber gegossen.“ schreibt der Rolling Stone und silbern kommt jetzt auch dieses aufwendig produzierte Kunstbuch daher. Der Text des titelgebenden Songs „In Every Move“ ist silbern in das Buchcover eingeprägt, die unzertrennliche Verbindung zwi- schen Bild und Musik so bereits auf den ersten Blick erfahrbar. Jedem Songtext ist dann auf den großzügig gestalteten Innenseiten ein Werk aus dem malerischen Schaffen Cate Martins zugeordnet. Elf Colorsphären, die den Klangfiguren der Songs antworten, wodurch ein Produkt entstanden ist, das es so auf dem Kunstbuchmarkt kein zweites Mal gibt.
